Atrix DEALS thread!

since they are separate vendor, do they take credit card ? It will be nice if they do as I get an extra 1 yr warranty from my card...

The phones are actually stocked by Costco, Wireless Advocates seems to only handle the activations. So, Costco rules apply, AmEx, debit, and cash.

I was going to return my evo in the morning but I have until march 6 to cancel and not be charged an ETF so im just going to see how I like the atrix until then and make my decision from there. I love the evo though and sprints prices

sprints prices are the reason im switching.. i got the 69.99 plan and insurance and mandatory data.. i end up with $90 bill..

if i switch ill get a discount from school and discount with uverse and putting both on the same bill is another discount.. so the bill will end up around $60/month

that and the sprint "silver" b/s is why at&t might be my new best friend

I actually created another post before I saw this but guys if you want the Atrix for $129.99 on AT&T on an upgrade do the following...

Long story short, I used to work at AT&T years ago and know the ins and outs of it....

So here is how I did it...

Went to a corporate store and upgraded the phone as usual, then called up customer service asking to be transfered to the cancellation department. Told them that I want to cancel all my lines, explained how walmart is offereing the phone for $129 and I plan on switching to verizon because of the inconvenicne !

Customer service rep said go back to corporate store and tell them you want to use their "Price Protection Policy" and they should credit me it back.

I said no and said I dont want a run around, either credit me it or I will leave and without hesitation the Rep credited me the $70 back to my account...

Should work for most people as AT&T is desparate right now not to lose any other customers, esp to verizon!

Hope this helps...

Yeah I feel you 100% I got 27% off of my sprint bill though and the unlimited data is so nice. Im really worried that I might go over AT&T 2gb data plan

Well I havent even received my atrix yet but Im sending it back as soon as I do, I just cant see giving up my umlimited data on sprint and not being able to flash custom ROMS onto the atirx...Looks like I will just wait for HTC to put out something dual core on sprint!

nope. It said 119.99 for upgrade 1-5 lines.

Must be per each store's policy then. I went in Thursday evening, talked to the rep, and the sign said $119.99 for NEW plans, and $149.99 for upgrades and additional lines. This was at the Glen Burnie store in MD
