After spending a day with 4.3 I thought it might be helpful to start a thread of changes you notice since upgrading to 4.3. Some a very trivial and some aren't.

Here's what I noticed so far:

  1. Zoes are misused in the automatic 30 second movies created for events. In 4.1 the Zoe themes would use the entire 3 seconds of the zoe clips inside the Event folder. I actually got quite good at knowing what kinds of Zoes would enhance a movie highlight. Now, no matter what theme I use the Zoes are clipped after only a second or so and it seems very abrupt. I loved this feature before and I feel the zoe clips are not integrated like they were in the previous version. Unfortunate because I like the look of the new group of Zoe movie themes that include Atlantis, Hammerville, Gotham, Boulevard, Boardwalk and Lilyton
  2. The power icon in settings looks awful and doesn't blend with the other cleaner icons
  3. The ATT logo stays prominently in the top notification bar unless you replace it with the power saver icon or if you have another notificaiton. This isn't a big deal but I don't need a constant reminder about who my carrier is
  4. New apps showed up in the drawer including: ATT Ready 2 Go, ATT Code Scanner, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Games, KeyVPN, Play Games, Usage
  5. Camera AE/AF auto lock is a welcome improvement. Before this when shooting a video it would almost always lose focus and relock while you were filming.

What have all of you noticed?

Good thread idea! Here are a few more:
1. The home button can now be customized. Long press to bring up the menu (and removing the "black bar" in the process) and swipe up to bring up Google Now.
2. Expanded/Actionable notifications. You can now delete and email and other things right from the notification shade. Also, speaking of the notification shade, quick settings are now available from there. And when you swipe away the last notification the shade automatically closes.
3. Ability to add battery percent in the notification bar.

I can't figure out how to do any of that. How do you do #1?

1. Go to Settings > Display, Gestures & Buttons > Buttons. There's an option there to change the behavior of the home button.
2. Actionable notifications should be automatic. I know emails can be deleted or replied to, music controls show up there now and probably more things.
3. Go to Settings > Power and there should be an option to show battery level in the status bar

Plus, you can take screenshots and share them from the notifications pulldown. Love the new notifications pulldown as a whole.

It is awesome, but do you notice that when sharing a screen shot directly from the notification pull down, there is no option to share by "SMS"??

I've noticed that you can get to the quick settings.... quicker, if you use two fingers to pull down the shade.
Also, Daydream can be activated when you want it to. Settings>Display and Gestures>Daydream.
I've noticed the speakers have been improved...again.
Now some quarks: The internet Explorer can only open 6 Pages at a time, and will close the first page open on successive opened pages.
Opening a page from Blinkfeed will now show up in recent apps section to clear.
Low battery and charge now have icons when the phone is off and charging, with percentage level.
There are various new alert messages to see at anytime on the phone. Basically more alerts for different apps, settings, restrictions, actions in settings, etc.
And lastly, the long press of the home button doesnt work on apps with a "menu" button (icon with three or four horizontal lines/those menus places on the side). It will work with the "options" icon (the three vertical dots). So we know that bar has been removed, and apps already with it, in the upper corners, will just open like normally pressing it would. lol.

Most of the features in 4.3, were in 4.22 , only sense has been updated abit , but for usa users who did not get 4.22 to go from 4.12 is a nice update

I noticed also that there is no longer a way to check for updates under Settings>About> !! The ATT update utility is still there.

Ha, that's funny. Plus I just pressed the check updates, and it instantly said I had to wait 24 hrs after it was dond. I wonder what to do on the next update? Besides setting time ahead, but you know, as time went on, I've noticed users having to set the time ahead longer and longer.... Uh oh, that's not a good sign.

Got the 4.3 update, no issues so far! I could do without the useless bloat they added, but at least I can disable them (I won't root until my warranty runs out).

HTC tv now lets you change the provider per remote which is the only thing I did not like about the tv app.

I am so happy you mentioned the Zoe Video Highlights issue. I was fuming once I checked out the new Highlight Video options! It has completely ruined the Zoe experience that we all loved. Every single option looks ridiculous now. Being able to make those videos was one of the reasons I was sold on the HTC One in the first place, as I know many other individuals were as well. It is very unfortunate indeed... If I had known the update would ruin that feature I would not have updated. I don't care so much about the other things implemented by the update, because I was happy with my phone before the change, and most importantly I was thrilled with Zoe Highlights, but now all I want to do is go back in time a skip the update, or do the impossible presently and uninstall it. =( I wish more people were voicing this concern so that HTC/AT&T will fix the issue!!! Until the issue is fixed I won't use the feature. Not because I want to go on strike about it, but because the Zoe clips look so ridiculous when they freeze before you can even see the motion in the video and then awkwardly transition into the next ridiculously edited clip. Knowing what the feature could do before, I can't imagine using it now. =( =( Who do we have to contact to get them to fix this!!?? haha

...But seriously... who?

Wow, here is an ASTOUNDING new feature. The face recognition has an option to require blinking before unlocking! OK, so it's not THAT exciting, but just want to report any updates I found.

I think the new Zoe Highlights are much improved. Music is a whole lot better. Especially Hammerville

I wish I could show you the Zoe Highlight I have of the ocean waves off of the beaches in NC after a storm.. I used Islandia and each ocean clip is a full 3 sec and it is absolutely beautiful, because you can see the waves crashing into the shoreline, and then it seamlessly transitions into another wave and you get to really see how huge they are, and how crazy they are, and the way they move is just so mesmerizing, and having 3 full sec of each wave made the whole video amazing. Right now with the update you get a one sec clip of each wave before it freezes on a still image and all the "magic" of the ocean is lost. The new music and color scheme options are great, I agree with you there, but you can't do much with them. The update I want is something that will bring back the option of playing the full 3 sec clips, because these 1 sec clips are limiting what you can do with Zoe, and that's the issue.

Wasn't this update supposed to address that *#%?$?~? black bar that removes the bottom 1/4inch if screen?

Your talking about the black 3 dot menu bar?

Go to settings/display, gestures & buttons

Then look down the list for Button and then Home. Switch your home button to Swipe up for Google Now and hold for menu.

That is the one thing I was hoping they would fix with this update, it bothered me so much with 4.1. Only thing we can do to get that option is to use third party SMS app (Handcent,Textra etc)
