Attention Evo Owners - Is the phone too big?

I have to agree the evo is the perfect size for my huge hands. Hopefully the evo's successor keeps the size going.

I think the 4.3" screen is perfect. I messed around with a 5" Dell Streak the other day and that was way too big for me. It was like holding a plate to your head when using the phone. Don't get me wrong, the 5" screen was great for everything else, just not for making calls or putting it in your pocket. IMO, I think 4.3 will become the standard size for touchscreen smartphones and anything bigger will serve more as a tablet like device than a phone.

I go naked with mine. It's nice that I'm not required to use a bumper to make calls.

its perfect size for me. can't picture myself going to a smaller size

Echoing the thoughts of most already on here. When I first got it, I thought it was too big for the first day. I've had mine for a week now and even with the case on it, it doesn't feel overly huge. Matter of fact I forget how big it is until I pull it out against an iPhone/Pre/Incredible etc.

Already hoping for an Evo2 because I can't imagine going to a smaller screen now.

I love it, everything else just looks small now.

Felt a little big at first - now I find it to be the perfect size and I love it! I picked up my ipod touch earlier today and laughed at the "tiny" screen.

Sometimes I get aggravated with the phone because the inside of my thumb where my palm crease is sometimes hits the search key and messes up what I am doing. I am a girl so I do have smaller hands. However I still love it and whenever I play with my treo it feels so tiny and puny. I'm too attached to it now and I can't give it up. :)

Oh but it does feel great in my pocket. Sometimes I don't even know it is there.

another +1 for perfect size.

I've always liked the bigger phones though - I came from a Bold 9000 to this one. I'd rather have a huge screen. I'm also done with physical keyboards. I love how thin phones are when they have no keyboard, and typing on a virtual is getting very good. Especially on a phone with a screen the size of the evo.

If you have man-sized hands, it'll be a good fit. If you have hands like that guy in the Burger King commercials, this phone is not for you. My wife feels it's a bit big for her, but I honestly think it's because she hasn't given it a real chance. My son and I love ours, and we find it to be just the perfect size.

Big is a relative term... it could always be bigger, and less feature packed...
