Auto Rotate on Droid X with Froyo?

Does froyo update allow auto totate on home screen etc.? My Droid X doesn't seem to be auto rotating and the check mark on the display setting is checked. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing, this isn't allowed on the home screen

if you have a different launcher from the default one like like launcherpro for example you can rotate the home screen.

Yeah kind of sucks you cant rotate the home screen . I don't understand why this isn't allowed

It rotates when you are docked in car mode.

I had Launcher Pro Plus on my X until the other day (took it off cuz of conflicts). With LP+, the home screens rotate. I have to say, I actually like it better without the rotation. There was always a delay factor (albeit a split second or so) while icons shifted position ... in any direction. Got to be somewhat annoying, especially when it went into landscape (or visa versa) when I just barely shifted the position of the X. Then, I'd have to turn back and wait while all got rearranged. Was very sensitive to position changes.
