Does the 7plus do anything the 6splus doesn't do?

I have a 6s for work, so just off the top of my head
water resist
camera zoom, low light better
battery averages 5.5-6 hours of straight gaming, my 6s does about 3.5
graphics run smoother
apps run faster/more fluid

No offense but eh. Not much really. I don't game nor use zoom. Low light pics nice. Extended battery life nice. Water proof is useful. Water resistant means nothing to me. You drop it in the toilet your warranty still doesn't protect you unless device is water proof. In fairness I don't know of any water proof cell phone.

I'm not sure it adds up to enough to make up for lack of dedicated headphone jack. I really would have like wireless charging.

Yeah 7 plus has a beast battery life. 1:20 SOT for every 12% approx. got 5:45 SOT time yesterday and still was at 51% by the end of the day.

But the price

Just don't understand how Apple gets away with it. The hardware specs, display tech and resolution are not as good as some $400 phones out there. I wouldn't pay any more than $600 for a 128gb 7 plus.

Although I plan to update to the V20, my V10 works like a champ. So I'm patient enough to wait. I'll be really happy if it doesn't have any bugs when it's finally released.

I'm sure Apple can charge a premium simply for the brand name, but I will give them credit for their software integration. If you're someone that values consistent performance and a single environment across multiple devices over the hardware specs, then the higher price could be worth it. Remember, the cost of the phone is paying for more than just the physical hardware, but also the programming that goes into it as well.

Resolution isn't everything. Screen quality on Iphones is very good, now apparently even better.

I have an s7edge and whilst the amoled is good I preferred the thin film display of the Elephone P9000 I had. Stunning in every respect and 'only' fHD. Made by LG incidently.

All their stuff is overpriced since as long as I can remember. I remember paying $900 for an iBook back in 2001. When it broke I paid $500 for a better windows laptop cuz it made more sense lol

Although I feel $850 is overpriced for a 64gb note 7...

Just heartbreaking how borked the Note 7 is. Just gorgeous phone and screen but even without explosions the lag is stupid.

I agree!!! I want to love this phone but i can't. Maybe if it was $700 I would but the occasional lag and weak audio performance is a deal breaker for me!!

Oh ya I forgot how bad notifications sounded.
Yeah the built in speaker is weak but I can tolerate it. It's the headphone jack performance that was a big disappointment!!! I'm no audiophile but I like my music loud and with full sound and its sad that such a feature pack flagship has such low end audio capabilites!!

I never said it was *everything*. I'm talking about the phone as a whole in terms of all its hardware specs, not software. There are phones out there that are $400 that have better hardware than the iPhone 7 plus. I'm not saying it isn't a good phone either....just not a phone I would pay $1000 for.

Not having the lag or weak audio. Reviews that actually measure the display and the sound quality raved. My Klipsch buds, Grado cans and Bose Connects concur.

Now, if talking about the speaker, that IMO would not count for sound quality anyway.

Note 7 especially after the recent update rocks real hard and has very similar battery life in FHD and still looks better than the Plus. Seems something wrong with your devices. Respectfully.

Battery life will not be a strong suit with the V20. Significantly less battery life than Note 7, so good thing having replaceable battery :)

None the less, the V20 should rock.
