Reboot and then try again. I got mine while on Wi-fi too, so I don't know if that matters or not.

No update for me either. Are those getting the update members of the Motorola Feedback Network? I had read that only they would get the update tonight...

This morning on my way to work, I checked for the update and it was there. I downloaded it, but the install failed. Since then, it's saying that I'm up to date.

I wonder is the first one was broken so they revoked it...

Left coast here, and I can't get it this morning. Even on WiFi with a power cycle which forced DL like a charm before, I'm "up to date". They may have suspended it for some reason.

Most posts say you can stay rooted and DL the update. You may lose root. You may not. Dl z4root and re-root if needed. Bada-bing...you're back in business.

I got mine fine this morning @ about 6:30. At first I got that my device is up to date, but I rebooted & got on Wi-fi and had no problems then. I didn't even unroot first. When I booted up after install, I thought I was still rooted, but wasn't & only needed to run z4root again and....good to go!

I rebooted and did a manual check for updates this morning at about 7am EST. It found 2.3.340 so I downloaded it and installed it fine.

5 minutes after it rebooted to the home screen, the screen timed out since I wasn't using it. I pressed the home key as I normally do on my Droid X to wake it up only it did not come back. I tried the power button - no luck. I had to remove the battery to reboot.

After it rebooted, it seemed fine and I drove to work. I was listening to an MP3 when all of a sudden it just rebooted.

This update is off to a good start!

I am hoping that this will start working better and my HDMI out video display problems will be fixed.

I am not a member of the Motorola Feedback Network and I got my update this morning @ about 6:30AM CST.

I'm also getting my system is up to date message. Cannont wait to get the update. My big complaint has also been the music feature freezing up. I would prefer to use the stop player with froyo

I remained rooted and I was still able to get my download this morning. I lost root even though I still had my superuser icon in the app drawer, but I ran z4root again and am rooted just like before. No problems.

Everyone should seriously consider donating to that developer. z4root is amazing!
