I'm more inclined to trust Phil than anyone else. P3Droid and it seems now Droid Life have gotten into the looking for attention realm. Heck Phil and the guys at Android Central are so thorough that they sometimes make me mad because there are times that the front page won't have any info that I'm waiting for, but at the same time because they are so thorough and they do their best to confirm everything, they are rarely wrong and when they are, they make a point to admit it or say something has changed (like with Phil's post yesterday).

I talked to Verizon about another issue yesterday and while I had the guy on the phone I asked if he knew of a release date on the Galaxy Nexus. He said we'll know before he does, they never tell their employees those things.

Funny thing was he asked me a couple of times how I even knew about the Galaxy Nexus because ONLY the ANDROID FANATICS know anything about that phone!! I said... well I am one ;-)

P3 is a great developer. But a horrible source of info. Droid life has sources but they seem to post just about anything without checking first.

People at Google wouldn't be saying before December if they knew the product wasn't even in the United States before the 29th. It seems to me Verizon is putting out bad information to give themselves an out if they delay things further.

Also agreed. And I must say, this has more promise to it than any of the other rumors because he didn't bother to put "tentative" or "unconfirmed" in the title. I'm thinking this will most likely be it.
