I saw the resound today. The 720p screen didn't blow me away. the font was too small and the color was bland compared to the amoled screen of even the razr.

Oh and beats by dre is lame. You can get better headphones for 1/3 that price.

From a Rezound owner, the screen is amazing. I've never seen a display so clear. Comparing it to the RAZR is laughable.

Every time I have ordered a phone online from Verizon, it has been at my house the next day without having to pay any fees. I hope that is still the case.

cdf3, try calling VZW customer service on Monday. They may be able to handle your early upgrade order over the phone. I dont think you can do it through the website.

I believe VZW must have recently switched over to free 2 day shipping as opposed to the free overnight they used to offer. I just tried to buy an accessory and overnight costs $12.99 which is a small price to pay to get this phone a day sooner.

If this is true, then I may have to wait until Black Friday. I got a "$50 off your next smartphone" promotional card in the mail for my local Verizon store, and it would be kinda stupid to trash that just to have the phone 3-4 days earlier.

Verizon is the Mike Shanahan of carriers.... those who play fantasy football understand what I mean.

If I can't order this Monday online, I'm gonna go "rent" another phone in the meantime. I can't take this anymore. I didn't want to do the "rent" thing but enough's enough.

It makes me wonder if P3Droid is maybe having some miscommunication with his source. I mean I know he only deals with Verizon phones, but between what BMX is saying and the screenshot of there being over 125,000 in Verizon's warehouse, it makes me wonder if maybe he's getting info about the GSM version and he's just thinking it's the LTE version. I mean we know that Verizon won't have an exclusive in the U.S. permanently. So with him talking about not enough getting into the country, etc, it makes me wonder if maybe some lines have been crossed or something.

I talked to somebody today. The original number was 120,400. That same total has dropped by 35%. Something is amiss that none of us are hearing about.

Will I be able to do an early upgrade online?

I'm able to do an early upgrade in any of the cooperate stores by paying a $20 fee.
When I go online, it doesn't present me with that option.
It only shows the full retail price of phones.

iirc early upgrades are only done in stores as its not "Normal", I have never heard of the $20 fee which sounds ridiculous as heck

Just checked the online Verizon store about shipping options while pretending to upgrade to a Rezound and the free standard in now Fedex 2-day, with the options for Fedex Next-day by 3pm for $12.99 and Fedex Next-Day by 10:30am for $14.99.

Like someone else said, A small price to pay after all this waiting!!
