I wouldn't put much faith in the accuracy of LG support responses. They don't seem to know much about the Urbane 2. I'd say 50% of the answers they've posted on the support page for the LGU2 are incorrect. They are probably also unaware that the preview for 2.0 was/is available on the LGU2.

:-D that is much better then LG answer :-D well, I did not "check" whether they know anything about Google announcement related to which kind of smart watches should get AW2.0 update...... So I put myself to "standby" mode and taking no stress for the LG support answer.

I hope I get the update soon, I am waiting for SMS texting possibility via internal SIM (anyway I have to manage some app which is able to do that - my question related to this has its own thread).

That exactly what the support supposed to do. Anything that is not publically announced should be treated as non-existing. If LG support told you otherwise, that guy would be fired right away.

In fact I would suspect you will receive the similar answer even if the update starts to roll out.
