Bad Wi-Fi Range

Froyo seems to have improved Wi-Fi quite a bit. I can now get about 13 Mbps down and 4 up anywhere in and around the house. I am also not seeing the signal drop out occasionally like it was before, but we'll see how it goes over the next few days.

Tested my wifi a bit more, seems a bit better but it may just be the evo not playing nice with my router.but all our other devices connect well, so idk

Huge boost in my Wi-Fi signal I went from 2 bars in my basement to a steady full bar signal.

My wifi seems better after the update. But I also got a replacement phone today so I can't really say what did it.

I used to get only 1-2 bars of wifi signal anywhere but in the rooms next to the router. Now I'm seeing up to 4-5 bars anywhere in my home which is a welcome change. I'm averaging between 12-13Mbps down + 2.5-3Mbps up.

I was getting these speeds before so I'm wondering if it it's more of a display (of bars) issue rather than wifi actually being better.

As for me, wifi in 2.1 sucked. Wifi in 2.2 is way better in terms of range and stability.

I had the same problem in my apartment. I ended up getting a repeater from this site.

I never have WiFi enabled on my phone

I have the phone since 7/31 and NEVER have gotten speeds past 550 mbs

Any idea what the problem could be?

I live in NYC and 4G is not available in this area as of yet
