Baked Snack Froyo EB13/EC05 "More Undisputed ;)"

I actually had Bonsai 4.0 with that theme. But the Stock Baked Snack ROM theme is actually better then the Honeycomb Fusion theme. It has the popup spacing correct and doesn't cut off words. (ex. hold down on home screen & that popup there is smaller.) So I'm keeping the regular ROM like this. But I'm really disappointed that its been a few days and nothing. How long does it usually take to get access to the forums? I've been checking back almost every hour.

I got it yesterday and within an hour or so... sounds like something slipped through the cracks... send an email with your paypal confirm and he'll entitle you manually...

Yes do as the other users have recommended. Go to BakedSnackShack.com and email Hero_Over. Send him your PayPal confirmation number & username/email you registered with and he should push it threw.

Has anyone had problems with making phone calls? I tried to call several times and it keeps force closing. :-\

I gave up. I just odin back to DI18 then my phone asked me to update to EC05. I'm tired of reflashing, odin, reflashing, odin. I've literally tried to get this one to work for quite some time and its not working. I even followed the instructions to the "t". So I'm just done for now. Maybe once I'm done being upset that I have to redownload all my apps again and again, I'll try it again. The ROM was awesome while it worked. But once the Phone started force closing, everything else did too. I couldn't even send a text. Why would that happen out of nowhere? It was working fine earlier in the day. Then all of a sudden it stopped... Eh... Maybe next time. No offense to anyone, I just personally didn't get it to work like it was supposed to and the dev never gave me access to the forums so I personally don't really care much for it. Sorry...

After several days on 2.2, I've moved temporarily over to Bonsai 4.0... I plan to come back to BS and am a forum member, but found 2.2 to be extremely tempermental... I flashed an edify zip to enable flash for Hulu that works flawlessly on midNIGHT and Bonsai, but it torpedoed BS 2.2 creating non-stop force closes... I had to restart from scratch... in another instance, I went into Titanium as is standard for me, and tried to freeze DRM... the second I did it, things fell apart again... I just can't deal with worrying about the ROM blowing up every time I attempt to tinker with something I consider relatively minor... hopefully 2.3 will be a bit more stable and he'll bake in a fix for that SMS voicemail notification... just my two cents...

Can't speak for Hulu as I haven't installed the app since DK28, but as for DRM disabling it from starting using "Startup Manager" (from the Market) works great for me.

I tried to disable it from running apps in system settings initially, and then through Titanium, both of which work on every other ROM I've ever tried... I had multiple issues doing minor tinkering with this ROM that could not be undone, so I'm just waiting till next generation... definitely plan to come back for a spin...

What was your CPU clocked at? Some users have problems above 1GHz (like me), which can cause freezing and corrupted data. I just dialed it back to 1GHz and am having no problems anymore. In my case this is for all EB13 kernels, not just Baked Snack.

What are you using to adjust clock speed?

That includes me too, runs great at 1GHz but all sorts of problems come up any faster than that. I have noticed that it often says the battery is full even though it is only at 96%. Planning on getting a good charge and do a wipe battery stats. Any word on the how to restore the stock smilies?

Installed BS 2.1 with Linpack Kernal. It came with Voodoo Control. When I tried to access Voodoo Control it says "sorry, this phone doesn't run a kernal supporting extended sound controls."

My Kernal version is 2.6.32.9.

What BS Kernal do I need to use Voodoo Control?

Sorry if this is a noob question.

Baked Snack v2.2 kernels have VooDoo Sound support. Hero said v2.3 should be finished in a few days, so v2.2 should go public and be posted here around the same time.

The kernel included in Baked Snack v2.1 doesn't seem to react very well to over clocking. The kernels he included in Baked Snack v2.2 work good with overclocking.

As Ragnarokx stated,

Hello, I'm still pretty green when it comes to the whole rooting and ROM flashing process. Other than a couple of small hiccups I have had a great time experimenting with a couple of different ROMs and switching to EXT4, so I am sure I am just overlooking something. This ROM has been running perfect for me but I briefly changed the original theme that came with it, the one with the Zorro droid and pierced apple, and now I can't seem to figure out how to get it back. Is it in a folder somewhere that I am overlooking? The Theme part is even more knew to me and I am messing around with the Honeycomb Fusion Theme, but not liking the wallpaper that comes standard with it.

If you made a back up in CWM you could always restore that. If you didn't make a back up then you are going to have to reflash the rom to get the them back. You also could ask Hero for the theme.

Quick pointer, even when messing with theme stuff just make a CWM back up before that way if you don't like it you could always just restore back.

Thank you, I made a backup in CWM just before I flashed Baked Snack so I guess that won't help. I've joined his site so I will just ask him for it.

If you have used 7zip or WinRar you can pull the wallpaper out yourself from the ROM very easily.

Simply take the ROM zip, example "BakedSnack2.1.zip" and "Open the archive" with 7zip or WinRaR

navaigate to the following folder

/system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi

Find the file called " default-wallpaper.jpg"

That is your default wallpaper (the zorro guy with the apple... that Hero used in Baked Snack)
