BAMF Forever 1.10 FINAL is out

I finally loaded Forever 1.11 again... and this time installed the 3++ Kernel... one day later I'm very happy I did and enjoying this ROM... and just in case some of you are not sure where these two things are and how to download them... I'm not going to post their links, but here are the links to the exact posts:

1. BAMF Forever 1.11: [GB][2.11.605.5][Sense3.0]BAMF Forever 1.10 FINAL - Page 601
2. It's called "Test Batch 3++": [KERNEL][2.6.35.10][BETA]Test 3

@fatboy97 You might want to send people to post # 6322 on page 633 rather than post 6001 on page 601. Reason being HTC Loggers was included in the page 601 post and was removed on the page 633 post.
@wildman make sure you delete or freeze the HTC Loggers app.

Edit: would have mentioned sooner but haven't looked that this thread for a bit.

Good call... here are the updated links:

anyone able to successfully download from that link (in the thread)?
i get directed to multi-upload, enter a captcha phrase--then nothing happens.

tried 3 times, maybe i'm just missing something obvious?

edit: nvm, tried MegaUpLoad link instead of MultiUpload. had no problem there.

flashed both the ROM (coming from 1.8) and the linked Kernel---wow. this thing is fast. so much better than the lag i was experiencing on 1.10 (which made me revert to 1.8)

I am running an old BAMF rom and it is finally giving me lots of issues, so I figured I would update to Forever. What is the current radios, and if mine are working great right now do I need to update radios?

If you are running gb radios (mr2 or better) you should be set.

You will want a new kernel though. The included kernel is horrible.

3++ or imoseyons lean are both good with this rom.

"old BAMF rom" could mean a lot of different things... Froyo rom, or GB rom???

The newest radio is Radios from 2.11.605.9 separated and ready to flash. - RootzWiki... they are two separate radio files (CDMA and LTE), you'd have to flash them individually.... all others are linked in my signature below... if you want the latest... otherwise, any GB Radio should work.

Whats the difference?

I got the download from the original link, should I switch?

Difference... I'm guessing you are asking the difference between the 6001 post and the 6322 post... the difference is the HTC Logger apk. That is the difference... you can delete the HTCLogger.apk from your /system/app folder... that is the only difference in the two 1.11 versions... and if you don't know how to do that you can load the one from Post #6322.

Ya I did leave that a bit open ended. It is a GB with sense 3.0. I will stick to what radio i have right now and see what happens.

Was on 1.10 working great. Only issue was sometimes a call would not have an answer button. Upgraded to 1.11 and its been a mess. Random revolts, official mobile hotspot won't run. Can't decide whether to go back to 1.10 or try another ROM

I'm on 1.10 and have no issues after flashing the 3++ kernal and the 2.1 answer screen (which took away that answer bug). If you're having too many issues on 1.11 try going back, it wouldn't hurt

That is what backups are for... if you don't like what you just flashed, then go back to a backup.

Agreed I can go back to 1.10, just considering trying something else. O figure ics is probably a good month or more away

Is 1.11 still in test mode? I'm assuming thats why there is no official thread? i just installed 1.10 a few moments ago.

Since most of the developers are working on ICS I'm thinking 1.11 might never become official. I've been using 1.11 for a number of weeks and don't see going back to anything until an ICS ROM comes out.

Even if you are using 1.10, or 1.11 I'd recommend that you load the 3++ Kernel linked in previous posts.

What are you seeing as advantages over g3d atm? I love both and am.just curious.

I ran 1.11 with various kernels for a while with good success.

Personally, I think BAMF Forever 1.11 is just an overall more polished ROM... everything works, it's fast, smooth and it works. I don't remember specific issues with g3d, but there were a few things that were a little buggy with the ROM for day to day use, and after going back to test 1.11 I have not looked back. This will be my daily driver for at least a couple more weeks until I pick up a new device... I'm on a 1 yr contract with my TB and actually could have picked up a new device as of yesterday since I had the TB on day ONE.

Did you try 1.2 g3d?

Thanks.
