Battery anxiety

I have a Pixel (5").

The battery is fantastic.

But I must use an extra 5% battery a day checking the battery when I don't need to anymore!!

Help.

That's 5% of the amount of battery used, not 5% of the total battery capacity. So if the battery is down to 95% (meaning 5% has been used), using 5% of that means using 0.25% of the battery - which hardly counts. But just stop checking it and you'll stop using even that little.

I didn't analyse it tbh, just a guess.

Was just thinking how old habits die hard.

Are you talking about not being able to see your percentage up top?

It was a (poor) joke. I'm so used to having Android phones with awful battery life that it's nice to have one that I don't have to worry about.

That was 15% remaining. I really love this phone!
