Is not having wifi on for data suppose to help with battery drain? Isnt data over carrier suppose to be more of a battery drain? Well for me its not at all!!!
I connect my wifi while at home to slow my battery usage. Overnight i did some testing. I made my wifi hotspot create a tone every time a device connects to it, the only device connected was my S4 Active. All through the night i could hear it connect over and over. The result, a 30-40% battery loss. Now with just my carrier, same test, over the past 2 days i only lost 20% overnight.
WTH Samsung/AT&T!!!
I know its that blasted AT&T Wifi app conflicting and giving others issues!
