Has anyone notice there battery not holding a charge like it used to? My battery went from 13% to 5% to dead in maybe 25 minutes tops. I don't have any new apps etc.

Should I replace it? Hardware or software?

No I am not having any issue with my battery.

Is there any new apps you installed? I would start there.

I only once noticed some drain and it was a rogue game that stayed open in the background

It's the Facebook app. It's all over the forums. Any app associated with Facebook is eating up battery like anything.

I reinstalled and it's fine now. Got me worried too yesterday.

read below. so the fix is uninstall messenger and facebook. use metal and it will work with facebook and messenger

To be fair, when the battery reaches percentages lower than 10% i wouldn't take that as a good representation of battery life expectancy. Over time batteries don't hold as much charge as the used to BUT, if you have Facebook installed i would check that first. There have been some issues reported about rapid battery drain. The phone is still fairly new, so there shouldn't be any problems with the battery. See how it performs from the 80% to 50% bracket. Im sure its an App you have left open. Hope this helps a bit.

I don't know if it was last update or an app update but mine is way better now. I am at 80% now and 2 weeks ago I would be at 50% by same time of day. I do use Next screen and the last update said battery fixes so that may have been mine. /shrug. I am not Verizon either.
