just curious - with you guys that did a reset. Any tricks to reinstalling all your apps and mail setup etc.?

I'm on Verizon, which has it's own little cloud storage that backed up my phone settings, contacts, etc. to, and it made it easy to reinstall that data. All of my installed apps were also auto-installed. Most everything was very easy, just need to re-setup all of my nova launcher settings.

Download Super Backup in the playstore.

Did the factory reset yesterday and so far it looks like things are back to normal. Btw would anyone know how or why I am getting better battery life locked on 4G LTE vs my home WiFi? It seems as though my battery is draining faster whenever I'm connecting over my WiFi at home vs 4G LTE..

When I look at my battery usage stats WiFi is the biggest user of the juice. Just the way it is. Ive always used less on LTE.

took a look at it, keeps referring to backing up to an sd card which we obviously don't have. have you tried it on the htc one without a card?

Yeah, I've also sent everything to my email just to play it safe...

Not having an sd card might not be an issue. I recently purchased Zooper Widget Pro, and it refers to saving to and loading from an sd card. I've saved to and loaded templates without issues. Also, since M_Lux posted a comment on the updates affects on his/her battery life, post # 39, it's safe to assume he/she also has an HTC One (no sd card). :)

For those disabling DM, I have DM and Download Manager in my phone storage under settings. Which one of these do I disable?

As a side note - I've had my new HTC One (I literally got it Saturday) going for about 6 hours on no charge, and am at 60% battery right now. All Wifi use. I've had many apps open, internet, facebook, twitter, email....
