Battery Life discussion thread.

Battery life is amazing so far.
Also. You guys should know you can turn 5G off if you want. I would think depending on your carrier you might want it off. I noticed my phone kept switching back and forth a lot I guess where I live it's not super good.

I wonder if AT&T crippled this feature, I can't find it where you'd expect or searching. To be fair it claims to be in parts around me and I was debating a plan upgrade anyway, but still annoying.

it is really early for a battery thread...LOL

Mine burned thru battery yesterday, but installing apps and logging in, I am not surprised. 4 hour screen time today at 50% that's really good for me.
Its all those reality shows you watch

Yeah. Can’t be AOD as i don’t believe it uses much battery

As others have stated here and elsewhere, the battery's 'elasticity' has to be conditioned by several discharge and charge cycles. I'm willing to give it a chance and I expect it to at least be on par with the Note10 Plus.

Not too worried yet to be honest. Its on 4G all day but that shouldn't matter i wouldn't expect

Still 50% left at 14.30 not ideal. Only 1 hour,10 minutes screen time

That's not very heavy usage. It's a little puzzling. For the moment I'd characterize what you've noted as an anomaly and would hope your experience with your new phone will improve.

In two minds if i should stick to WiFi or stay on 4g... does 4G use more battery?

My gut says it does use more battery because even when you're not using the phone, say if you are out, every app seems to be competing to connect to the Internet. I have the WiFi turned off when I am out unless I'm able to connect to a 'trusted' hotspot. Those are two old habits; relatively old anyway.

So far 7 SOT and day battery , still learning battery usage. Everytime I disconnect from Wi-Fi its 5G around my area , work and home haven't seen it drop down to 4g or just lte yet.

Same here ;) And that's a good thing.
