Battery life - how's yours?

As everyone else has said, it depends on how you manage the apps and things that use your battery. I easily get 12-14 hours on light-moderate use. I would suggest running the battery down until it dies and then letting it recharge off all night a couple of times, I had a vast increase after I did that. Also, my infuse battery seems to be getting better with age. The screen is an energy sucker, so make sure you keep it off as much as possible if you want to maximize battery life. I made the switch from iPhone 3g, and the only disappointment I've had is that it takes 3+ hours to charge.

Agree on the charge time. Yesterday after I flashed Infused I went from 100% to 0% in about 17 hours, with heavy/moderate use (texting, taking pictures, videos, uploading to Facebook, playing a few games, Internet, e-mail, etc.) I should add that at least 5 hours out of that I was in a very bad reception area which supposedly kills your battery faster since the phone is constantly attempting to grasp to a signal. 17 hours is not too shabby.

I hear that within days of having Infused it will get even better as the battery adjusts, wow! Can't wait.

I just got my infuse and ended up trying to kill the battery yesterday so I could do a full charge, as I have heard it is good to run it down at least once to help with battery life.

Well I had the screen on max brightness, disabled the screen timeout and had it connected to my wifi and used it moderately throughout the day. The thing lasted 11 hours before it shut off. Not bad at all, considering that incredibly bright screen was nearly blinding and was on the entire time.

Depends on my day. I work in a area where data is very very very weak. My phone is try hard to eat it up. I don't have wifi. I have a usb charger with me here but I play some peggle or Feild Runners and it eats it. Still though, I have about around 40% to 30% left after my 8 hour imprisonment.

At home I spent most of my day painting. With wifi on and streaming Amazon music while painting. only used about 10% of battery.

Yes, check this out, over 16 hours + with heavy phone use: taking pictures, videos, games, texting, uploading to Facebook, e-mail, at least five hours I was in a very low reception area, supposedly that kills your battery faster as your phone constantly attempts to hold on to the signal.

So after 16+ hours I was at 2% and it still lasted another 40ish minutes before it died completely. The 2 in top is the battery percentage and the little red dot represents the battery power level.

luis128, what program are you using to display the battery percentage in place of the regular battery status indicator? Thanks!

I was curious what kind of battery life yall get on the infuse with moderate use throughout the day. I have an inspire and it is driving me crazy. I pull it from charging at 6 in the morning and I have to charge it at about midday around 12 cause it's already down to about 30% or less. I love this phone but the battery is killing me. Thanks guys.

compared to my Nokio 6010 ( don't laugh, I bring it in the car or hiking or climbing as a backup when this POS infuse dies after so many hours i can switch sim cards and have communications for days until i get back home.) it is worse that sucky...it is shockingly inadequate to go along with the unwieldy:mad: size.

I first had to experiment but now, with moderate use ( checkiing emails, phone calls, texts and a little internet) I unplug it at about 5:30am and when I plug it in around 9:30 to 10pm it will have 65 to 70 percent battery left. When I first got it, I would have to switch batteries about mid afternoon. That was after I got through with my first facination with it and couldn't leave it alone. When I downloaded Juice Defender Ultimate is when I started getting 65 to 70 percent left at near bedtime. I don't run wifi, gps and bluethooth unless I need them. I set Juice Defender at "aggresive mode" and it causes me no problems. I don't get emails until I unlock the phone except for Gmail. For some reason, it gets emails while the phone's asleep. I did have something go haywire and I went back to changing batteries at 2pm in the afternoon. I'm sure it was something I downloaded or screwed up. I tried to delete programs that I thought may have caused the problem but, couldn't pin it down. I saved all my data files and some other things to my PC and did a full reset. I had written down the programs that I had most liked and downloaded them and reconfigured Juice Defender and It's 8pm now and I have 74 percent battery left. By the way, some one asked how it compared with HTC. I had an HTC Evo before this and the infuse not only has much better battery life it is much faster too. There is also a difference in the ease and reponse when touching the buttons etc.

I just recently rooted my infuse. Also recalibrated the battery. Battery life is amazing now! I can play games, text, make calls, surf the net, everything and last so much longer.
