Battery life - how's yours?

I easily get 14-18 hours of use. I use phone probably 2 hours a day, do email all day, text all day, check facebook 10 times a day. I don't use any 3rd party battery watchers, I don't use a live wallpaper, I had widget locker but it cut my battery life in half.
I also don't use any other launchers.
Screen timeout - 1 minute, I don't use the power save feature (figure using the led to determine light would drain more than save)
I always keep my display on lowest setting for brightness.
Hope this helps!

i just got mine yesterday and used it normally as i do my gs3 and was not disappointed at all.

3.5 hours off-charger with light use and I'm sitting pretty at 93% left.

I swear, as the days continue the battery life on this thing improves.

One thing I should note: I use MINIMAL settings all the time and am pretty diligent at making sure the display is OFF when I'm not using it (ie, not letting it time-out on its own but rather hitting the screen-lock key as soon as I'm done using the phone).

GPS/Bluetooth/Wifi only when I want them, use the stock app manager to kill apps (no task killers, found they drained my battery too), stock launcher, lowest brightness unless in direct sun, 15 second timeout, no animations, an all-black background (less area to light up), background data always off until I want it on, no apps updating (facebook, twitter, none of that junk), auto-sync always off. My weather widget checks the weather once a day, and my email is checked every 5 minutes. No other widgets running that require updates.

For those of you who are experiencing poor battery life, try some of the things I've mentioned above. It worked well for me.

I can't make it 3/4 of a day and coming from an iPhone4 where I barely looked at battery level (but charged nightly) I am somewhat disappointed in my Infuse's battery live. Oh well, that's life.

Some of it is because I've only had the Infuse a week and am playing with it constantly to get up to speed on 'droid stuff. Adding the WIFI, etc on/off manager's such as the juice app certainly helped (I'm comparing it now to the green power app someone recommended).

Note I am a very HAPPY camper with the Infuse even though the battery suffers...it's a lot of fun and I'll never go back to a 3.5" iPhone . No wonder my eyesight suffers.

The battery life suffers on my infuse after running multiple apps but now I make it a habit to clear my ram after I'm done and have noticed a significant improvement in battery life

I easily get 12 hours with moderate to heavy use. 15-16 if I don't play with it as much. Definitely a lot better than my 3GS. I charge it at night and have no issues all day.

Edit that figured I would try to stretch it a bit today. Normal pretty moderate usage day for me. Unplugged it from the charger at 6am this morning at the start of my day. It's now almost 1am. So about 19hrs and I'm at 35% battery left. Now if I was playing games and videos for hours that wouldn't be possible, but at this rate if I can go almost 24 hrs on normal usage I would say thats pretty damn good.

After installing ATK paid version and free version of juice defender I saw a vast improvement on battery life within a mere hour

Well I finally broke down and got one lol. I gotta say the battery last easily twice as long as my inspire did and I am very impressed. Plus this screen jeez its amazing.

Sent from da infuse mon!

That is the one thing I truely miss about the Atrix. It would charge up real fast and the battery would last over a full day with aggresive use. This battery, not so.

yes, I also downloaded juice defender and it did wonders for my battery. I have it on aggressive mode and have gotten 30 -50% more battery life.

I followed some great advice I got in another thread. I let the battery drain down all the way and charged it to 100%. I did this three times and the battery life improved dramatically.

Battery life is now much, much better. I was frustrated at first, but this resolved my issues.

Best part about this phone? Showing it to friends with their cute, old-fashioned iPhone 4's. They are so much smaller (screen), thicker, heavier and just plain look like an old brick compared to the Infuse.

I upgraded my old BB 9700 Bold to OS6 the other day, though I have not looked at that thing since I got the Infuse. How did I ever read that little tiny screen. Did I age that much this past month?

Hi, fellow Austinite and bear. In another thread I saw the suggestion to get the free JuiceDefender. I am very, very impressed with it. I could notice the difference in my battery life today. Great app!

Juice Defender Plus. Phone charged and taken off the charger at 6am. Down to 21% at 11pm. And thats with my Not so heavy normal use. Love it so far and am impressed. Kept it on balanced mode.

Juice defender upgraded and have customized my apps like maps and Pandora to keep running so juice defender doesn't kill the stream.

I have run the phone down to death 3 times. This morning was he first time I've gotten the battery full notification, so I'm excited to see how I do today.

Specifically which Juice Defender upgrade offers that option? Plus, Ultimate? I'm having that problem with my streaming apps quitting after the first song. I don't mind buying the paid app, but I want to know which version will allow me to set Pandora and Orb Live to continue streaming when I need them running continuously.

Ladies and gentleman, try turning off "background data" in accounts and sync settings. This greatly increased my battery life span. Hope this helps someone.

The only issue that I have had with the free JD is at work I have to lock my phone in a phone locker because we're not allowed to take cell phones in, and after it kills my data, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get my data going again.

Just got my phone last weekend. I have set all of my email/social applications to sync Manually or turned off automatic sync, turned the brightness down to lowest point, and FREQUENTLY use task master to end open programs AND clear level1 and level 2 RAM and so far today, after MORE than 24 hours my battery is only down to 67% from the 100% I started at 7 a.m. yesterday (it is now 9:30 a.m.), after normal daily use (texting, phone calls, browsing, etc). Oh...I also turn off WiFi when I am not using it.
