Battery life is shorter , apps are slower, random shut offs

I pretty much got what i asked for with the lg g4. I wanted expandable memory, changeable battery, good camera and a decent screen for games and vids etc.

However my battery is dying my apps are slower, and i notice phone is hot when charging and also restarts randomly optimizing message on screen takes forever.

Now I want to know what other phone LG has that is comparable? I am looking for expandable memory, changeable battery, good camera and decent screen size. (Would be nice if it didnt heat up while in use or while charging.) I really like my LG G4. I converted from Iphone. So please. Hit me with your best shot. Show me what you got. Wow me again.
