Battery life problem

I'm on 7.1.2 the second update an battery life has improved a lot

7.1.2 seems to have improved battery a bit. it has been an downfall for the past 3 security update on my nexus yesterday i came back home with 45% battery left. my wife's pixel gave already awesome battery and i think 7.1.2 is going to make it better

My battery is draining overnight while sitting at my bedside. Has been going on for about a month, or two. Used to never happen. What's up with that???

Sounds like an app is keeping it awake. Try safe mode and see if you get the same drain.

End of first day on 7.1.2. Hope it's not just a one off, but the battery is hugely improved. 66% left after 14 hours when normally I'd have about 50% . It's been a fairly normal day as far as usage is concerned.

I have an app that drain my battery even after i use it. So i make sure i floce close the app everytime i use it

fyi, my pixel which is running android o developer preview consumed 18% of battery in 12 hours of light usage.

Just got replacement phone from Google and its still as bad as the 1st one.

Unplugged it at 100% charge and put it in airplane mode, in the morning it was at 94%!

Doing upgrade now...

Well, yeah when you're not using your phone at all its pretty easy to get that time. But yeah I've been enjoying the battery life. Lately it's been kind so-so but here's screenshots from a day of pretty heavy usage.

Overnight battery problem has been fixed with new update. Stable overnight!
