I think 27 hours of battery with 5.5 SOT is very good. If the mobile is used non stop SOT would be above 7 hours.

From all the mobile I had (quite a lot) the S9+ has the best battery by far.

What would be good for you?

I agree with you...that is pretty darn good. I would take that all day!

S9 is working great for me. averaging 1+ day, with 5ish hours SoT

S9 845 gettin a full day with around 5hrs SOT... I'll usually charge with around 20% batt life at 11ish til full, don't charge overnight - I'm satisfied with it.

Yea its pretty good, like someone else said can go 2 days between charges with medium usage.

I have an s9+ exynos CPU, WQHD+, bluetooth n wifi on all the time.

This was 41 hours uptime, 4hrs SOT with 14% batt left, not too shabby. Also had 6hrs+ SOT quite often, with less uptime obviously.

Seen some users getting 9.5-10hrs SOT, probably watching utube vids and/or reading ebooks for hours which sip battery

On a side note "smart things", seems to consume a bit of battery, when its not being used at all, think i might disable that as i don't use it.

the battery life was great in the 1st few weeks. from what I have experienced, the more I use the phone, better the screen on time and more I keep it in standby, the battery life looks bad

How do you guys get such great battery life? I clear all my apps after I use them and I use the battery optimization in settings, but I just can't seem to figure this battery out. Is SD 845 power hungry? Do we have another SD 810 on our hands? People say the battery settles down after a while. I hope that's the case. I've had this device for 8 days now.

Give it few more days.....And make sure wifi and Bluetooth scanning are off they drain your battery alot

I just got an s9. first Samsung for me. the battery is in truth a beast. reception, even in this metal building seems to be pretty good
