So I decided to run my phone at full brightness. I turned off Adaptive, kept my display on the whole time.

I watched YouTube, listened to Google Play Music and Tunein Radio.
Took a phone call, browsed Google+ and a few other things.

Here are the results...

Second test.
50% brightness, Adaptive Brightness on..
I let this run over night.

Wow that is very impressive and it is great to know you had the phone on full brightness, how bright is the screen on this phone as I currently have an Xperia Z3 and that has a really bright screen and I do like a bright screen I have the Z3 set at around 75% brightness so will the Turbo 2 be bright at the same sort of percentage as if it isn't a bright screen I can't buy it :)

It is a toss up between this phone and the Style/Pure but the Style battery is described as average at best and that does sway me towards the T2 but the T2 is £150 more than the Style and I just can't decide whether that is worth it to me :)

With Adaptive Brightness off the screen is brighter. I used the have the HTC One M8 and the brightness is comparable in my opinion.

I like to keep mine at around 40% with Adaptive Brightness on.

I had a HTC One M8 and the screen brightness was great on that so the Turbo 2 sounds perfect BUT as I said £150 more than the Style is a big difference and one I am not sure about, the shatterproof screen isn't really something I need but it is a great feature but for me the battery life is a biggie but I do think the T2 is a bit overpriced compared to the Style.

Well you could always get up to $300 for a trade-in from Verizon. I've read that folks are averaging $200.

Elvee68, could you repeat the test with your screen at a fixed brightness? It would be interesting to compare the results.

The screen on full brightness is 445 Nits.
Motorola DROID Turbo 2 Review

I feel like contributing £150 just so you can get the phone and be done with it :)

Yeah sure I wouldn't mind seeing this myself.
My setting will be 50% Adaptive Brightness on.

Hehehe that really made me laugh :) I haven't owned a Motorola before so I want the more pure Android experience and even though my Xperia Z3 is perfectly fine I am a weak person when it comes to phones as I like trying a new experience :) the Style has many great qualities and of course we all know there isn't a perfect phone so for me the Style has a lot of good points but it does suffer from average battery life but yet it has a great screen, the X Force (UK) has a fab size battery and hopefully a great screen but it is the rather large price difference that I am struggling with, yes I can afford to buy the Force but I am not sure I need a shatterproof screen but of course it would be useful :) so that's where I am at present, I HAVE NO iDEA :)

Hangouts but not the others you mentioned.

For work on the other hand I need a charger near by just in case. I have location on and run Google Maps all day also I am talking on it the whole day too.
In a 11 hour day I might make it home at around 15% but most of the time I keep it on charge in my work vehicle.

Not as good as you, but I have whatsapp connected and chat quite a bit. Plus 4 emails with auto push connected.
