I am in the process of transferring apps. data and so on from a Galaxy Note 9 to a Galaxy S21 Ultra

There is some issues but the biggest seems to be the horrible battery usage.
The Note 9 had a power mode under battery/power mode mine is set to optimized

I can not find a similar setting on the S21 Ultra.
Can anyone advise?

You have to long press each app >tap info>tap battery can change there , dont transfer settings over coming from different Android version and battery will take a hit for first few days until everything settles and learns your usage

In settings/apps I can press on any app for more settings but long press does not work

The S21 Ultra has a power saving switch under Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Power saving

Your going through settings, I was referring shorter cut by long press any app on home page or apps drawer

I'll circle what I mean

I am using a different launcher so it looks different. When I long press on an app I get options and one of those is a circle with an ! in it.
That brings up app info

But do you mean I have to change every app to optimize?

I am concerned as to why a S21 Ultra with a 5000 mAh battery gets poorer battery time than a Note 9 with a 4000 mAh battery ?

Yes in Android 12 probably was Android 11 also

You'll have 3 selections it's no longer available in settings>apps>3 dots upper right corner>battery optimize

Note 9 had only 60zh panel and was one the best battery Life I had on that device 11 to 12 SOT a day battery

You want have similar results
FHD screen resolution
Drop to 60 hz
Turn 5g off
Leave automatic brightness
Turn AOD off

First 2 and brightness automatically are in settings>display
5g in settings connection

I looked in settings/display and do not see FHD but I do see screen resolution FHD+.
It is set to FHD+ already

Is that what you meant?

I do not see 60hz
