Battery widget not updating

On my Evo 4G LTE, any battery widgets I use update inconsistently, at best. Often, they'll not update at all. I noticed it first with my usual widget, BattStatt. Assuming it was maybe just that particular one, I also tried Circle Battery and Gauge Battery, both of which showed the same issue.

Generally, they'll show the correct battery power when first added or on initial phone boot. After that, however, they simply stay at whatever number they started on.

Can't imagine it's an ICS thing, or G-Nex users would've noticed this a long time ago. Maybe Sense 4.0 and/or HTC's task killing?

Anyone else notice this?

I'm using battery circle and have been since day one. Its been working very well. I did read somewhere else in these forums that apps that put something in the notification bar don't get killed as much if at all by the Sense modified multitasking.View attachment 26661

I don't know if I am off topic or not, but, I can't get one of two LTEVOs to reset the "battery use" history, after the phone has been shut down, recharged, and, rebooted. So, instead of the history starting at 0d 0hr 0 min, etc, on boot up the counter resumes where it left off....in days, hours and minutes....

Is this happening to anybody out there? Thanks for your help.

Edit: I finally reset the battery history by restarting the phone after boot up.

I'm seeing it sporadically work for a while, but still mostly not working. I also noticed the stock ICS calendar and gmail widgets don't update.

HTC's Agenda widget updates (but it queries when you go to that screen, not a background update)

Did some Google searching - may be an ICS issue in general. Saw a few other people complain of gmail widgets not updating. Unfortunately, doesn't seem that any of them had a resolution other than to find a widget that does update correctly.

Pretty certain this is a sense issue, the same problem was common with battery and clock widgets with the original EVO. For the life of me, I can't find the thread explaining how to correct it.

P's, loving the facial recognition unlock, I didn't expect it to actually work, Lol.
