BB rep messed with my phone while activating it

I'm not sure of the answer to your question. But, I will say this, I HATE when a rep takes the plastic off MY device. Just place the SIM in the device, and power it on, then make sure it can receive a call. I'll do the rest :)

Not at all! I always ask reps not to even take the phone out of the box if I'm buying it in-store. Lol! I need to savor that moment myself. They get to do it all day long!
 
I just looked at my six-month-old Skyrocket and it still has the blue plastic on the SIM and SD card slots. No signs of melting and I remember my phone feeling hot sometimes. I think that guy was full of it, personally.

If you want to take it back and get a new one, do it. And I'd also tell a manager about what the guy did to the one you bought and how unprofessional it is.
 
I wish the biggest issue I had to deal with in life is a rep taking the little blue film off the internal slots on the phone. :)

I bought mine from the sprint store and they let me basically unwrap it and set it up since I have everything on Google. I would be upset if some kid working at BB started messing with the phone I just bought as well
