Also, to those who are thinking about trying their hand at skins, ones like this:

Do not work. At ALL. This is a good example of what not to do in a number of ways.
A) BW stretches skins to make them work. So exact pixel work like this doesn't line up, and looks a little rectangular.
B) Complete transparency makes a terrible background.

This does, however, make a great template for fitting skins into.

I think I know what you mean, mine showing an example of a bad version (well better example lol)

The first few I will sell for free on the Android Market while I get the skills together to make really good themes. Then I shall sell them for chump change and make me some money, the weight of sales making me the profit that I desire.

I wish these board supported transparencies when we upload images to it, even if it just sticks the grey and white grid behind it to show what should be transparent or partially transparent when it converts the image to a non-transparent format...

FYI: people will be able to get skin easily, from the settings I will add a skin page that will list the skins on a server, with a preview (a screenshot). Then you will be able to install a skin from there.

I will also add a function to let people enter an url that point to a skin and will install it. So I won't host or be responsible for some underground skins such as the HTC design!

For now, it's only the one that's named appropriately. Later versions will support more themes according to Tama-Chan.

I'm working on a lot of themes right now. Can't wait till next week. And if Tama can somehow incorporate .apk's as the theme files, well I'll be in luck

Use home++ its a home replacement that has screen capture and is free. No need to root.
