Benefit of bt connection over LTE connection?

I read several posts about the annoying issues caused with bt connection. For example, answering phone calls via bt headset. Need to select the phone number when placing a call from u2.

If all the aw apps are not native but work through phone, is there any difference between bt, WiFi, LTE connections? The only benefit that I can think of is saving cell data.

IMO, at the moment LTE or wifi is not a necessity for any AW device. They are a convenience for the most part. AW is still best when directly paired via bluetooth. Besides the battery life, the other difference would be a somewhat longer leash away from your smartphone.

Because I choose to use a separate bluetooth phone headset for phone calls from my phone, I'm not able to receive phone call notifications on my Urbane. This is a recent change in the Urbane firmware, and has made half of my most important notifications inaccessible on the watch. I would be fine with not being able to "answer" phone call notifications on the watch, but I need to be able to at least receive/see on the watch that I'm getting them. In a perfect world, I'd have the option to "answer" on the watch, and have the phone call audio routed to my bluetooth phone headset. Sadly, none of this seems possible if you utilize a bluetooth phone headset as part of your setup.
