best buy pre-order

Ahhh, nothing quite like pre-ordering a phone and then getting it the same day you can walk right up to a counter and purchase it without waiting... The logic in this is quite magical.... Good thing Best Buy had that deal back in Feb. where you can get $50 off a phone if you signed up and purchased a new phone by 2013... otherwise, I don't see any other reason (besides the protection plan) to purchase from Best Buy... I just feel a little cheated knowing that I rushed to the store to be one of the first people to pre-order the phone on 06/05 and still get the phone the same day as anyone else walking in from the street... but who knows.. they may still surprise us.

It must 've upsetting but will be all the sweeter when you finally get your phone. Two things you should remember. First you got a sweet 50 dollar gift card. Second you are guaranteed a phone. If you did not pre order That may not have been the case. Best of luck guys.

Has anyone heard anything new on Verizon Best Buy preorders? I preordered on June 5th, and i was the first one there! My BBM hasn't got any in, and has no idea when they will be here! If it wasn't for having $170 in gift cards, I would go to the Verizon store!!!! I hope it is worth the wait!

Just spoke to my go to guy at my local Best Buy Mobile (Burlington, MA).

He confirmed the 10th. However he also said that their store hasn't received any inventory yet. He said that they should be receiving a drop shipment from Samsung but that he "was a little nervous" that they hadn't gotten stock in yet.

Fingers crossed that Tuesday is the day for all of us!

I first noticed it around midnight on Verizon's home page. The date said the 10th yesterday, then last night it changd to the 12th. I called a Verizon corp store and he initially said the 10th, then he looked it up and sure enough he said it was pushed back on all channels.

These date changes are getting ridiculous! It is one thing to have back orders but to just up and change the date when everyone knows you are shipping them is just plain wrong! Lol

Well just called local vzw store here in Seattle Tuesday is release date in fact they will be opening 2 hours early here for the launch....they have received their stock.

Given the fact Verizon has the best network and LTE, I was think they have a tad more phones to ship than the other phone companies combined!!!

I agree that they have the best, but I guess I'm find that a sad excuse to post pone the date. Say it is back ordered not keep moving the date back!
Most ppl seem to have preordered anyways...... I would have but had to wait for my amended tax refund to come in! Lol

They were last week, a lot of ATT and Sprint people were getting quite pissed about when they were getting their phones..they screwed the pooch as well, Verizon just did it a week later

Even the 12th is not safe. BBs phones come from the same channel, so If VZW is constrained, they could very easily choke BB out for a while. My 32gb is with Best Buy......

I have black tie on my phone. I just broke my SG1 and it was replace the next day. It was the same phone but it at least I did not go without my phone for long. They also cover spills, accidental damages, normal wear and tear and they will provide you with a new battery if your old one starts to die. The replacement is also unlimited so if i break it again they will get me a new one until my black runs out.

, I just came from the store. As of yesterday they were still seeing July 10 launch dates, then this morning bb employees received word from Verizon saying they we're now pushed back til the 12. I personally believe this is Verizon pulling from all of their other channels to fulfill their direct pre orders because they saw how mad everyone was getting at them. So they start screwing over bb shipments because they know people will blame bb and not the true source: Verizon. Corporations!

For what its worth, I called the BB I have my other pre order with, and the guy asked his manager and came back with the 12th as the date. Like I said, take it for what its worth.
