I just called Best Buy and they told me I can pick up my order 2morrow, but I'm kinda doubting that for some reason

Ordered my ATT S8+ on 3/30 and mines on a truck for delivery tomorrow, they gave me a four hour window between 1130-330 to be here.

Shoot, sorry, it didn't pick up the quoted text. Yes, mine is delivery. Was able to get a tracking number via phone, but no shipping info available on UPS yet.

Getting more movement in status! Earlier it changed to, "Order received" and "Available today", now it's "Preparing" and back to "We’ll notify you once it’s ready for pickup"

I misread the terms. You have to order by the 20th, not receive it by then.

It will soon. It depends on how fast they update the scanners in the morning.

Mine actually said out for delivery since 3:22 a.m. With UPS.

I read through this thread and there seems to be conflicting processes being described at BB and I was wondering if someone could clarify....

I ordered on line for in-store pick up (Verizon is the carrier, monthly payment).....
- some say I need to wait in-store for activation
- some say I show my ID and CC and I leave to activate on my own

I would prefer the latter as I will be picking up my wife's also and I don't want to have to go to the store twice (once for me right away lol and later with her so we don't cripple her phone while at work activating the new one)

Also, has anyone heard if the GS 8 family will be eligible for the Samsung Advantage Upgrade program?

Great info on this thread and appreciate everyone's nerdiness and enthusiasm proving to my wife - I am not the only lunatic counting the days.

In the past when I have ordered online for in store pick up, I have just gone to the online order pick up counter, got my phone and left.

If you ordered online for in store pick up, you can walk in to the pick up area. The only folks who need to wait for activation are those who preordered in store
