My status: ordered S8 (VZ) online (day 1) for delivery, wanted to switch to S8+ (orchid gray) so went into store to get it changed as they had to get Verizon to release my upgrade (for which I had to call BB from inside the store to do anyway). But since I was in store, I had to get in store pick up (with the dreaded sit and watch while they open and activate it). Bleh. Order date April 7.
I got the paper receipt with the "3..." order number which doesn't allow me to see any status online, even as a guest, etc. I do have faith however, that I will receive a call today to schedule a pickup tomorrow. I get out of work early tomorrow so I can be to the store around 2:30 so I hope it'll be a down time and can get done quickly (fingers crossed) because I have to get home shortly after and don't have time for a long wait.
In the meantime, my blue Alcantara case from Amazon UK is waiting at the post office for pickup today (good timing!)
Hope to pick up the phone tomorrow in my small window...
Now need to figure out how to set it all up since my wife just got off work tomorrow night and she won't be happy with me playing with my phone all night...
