Best cases for Google Pixel 2

Nice !! I have the black pitaka case and love it. Always get the pitaka cases on phones I own if they make one.

I have some more protective cases but haven't used them since I got the Pitaka case. Seems to be pretty durable. I'll probably keep buying Pitaka cases when possible.

Yep I have been using it for few months and also have it on my iPhones. Have been pretty durable and in great condition. I just love it since they don't have much bulk, look great. Obviously not going to protect like some bulky cases but I'm not looking for that kind of protection anyway.

I have some more protective cases but haven't used them since I got the Pitaka case. Seems to be pretty durable. I'll probably keep buying Pitaka cases when possible.

I bought a new fabric case from Google. As soon as soon as I put it on, the phone started rebooting. It continued in a loop until I removed the case. It makes no sense. I had the same case before and it worked fine.

Sounds like it was catching the power button for it to be doing something weird like that!

Yup. Now I'm in the market for a new case. The one for the 2 XL looked too much like the one I have for her 3 XL. We need to be able to tell our phones apart.

Recently got the Moment black canvas case for my 2 XL, along with the 58 mm telephoto lens that can be attached and detached easily. The case is quite good on its own merits -- actually a little less bulky than the Incipio Esquire case. The canvas part adds some nice texture and grippability. Buttons are firm enough to prevent accidental touches, but click without difficulty. The slots at the bottom rear are for a lanyard (since this is a case that's intended to turn the phone into a more serious camera). Apologies for the somewhat lousy photo quality -- I used my ancient 2013 Nexus 7 to take the shots, since I had it lying around!

Thankfully it's not metal, but maybe the shininess will reflect off onto the walls and my cat will love this case more than me!

I think I'm done with cases on the 2xl for a while. Most are too bulky and/or don't feel as good in hand. Going with this slickwraps skin (glass - black marble, back - matte white) skin for now. Feels great and offers some protection.

I might try the same lol been thinking about it for a while. I’m getting the 4 when it comes out so could maybe relax with a case for a bit lol

I also thought about skins for a while. Then I ordered several skins when Slickwraps started a 50-60% off sale which they've had for at least the past 2 weeks. Just $10 for the full skin (front, full back, sides), the glass + camera skin is $2 and the non glass back + sides is $5.

Wow thanks for letting me know. For that price I'll def try it out at least. But for the pixel 2xl I got a metal looking version. 2 backs and logos no glass wasn't able to find that

You have to use the customizer to order just the glass skin. I got at least 5 different glass skins since it's so cheap.
