Best Cases for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

Do the clear cases get all grimy inside? Do they have less drop protection than a dual layer case?

They've worked great for me - on my S8Plus previous, and my current Note 8.

Also to the other post- I haven't noticed them get grimy inside, but occasionally I do need to clean inside/outside of the case

Was a toss up between this and a Spigen clear case. I literally searched and researched hours and finally landed on the VRS. Thoughts?

I had the High Pro Shield on my S7E and my N5 before that. Ordered the one you linked yesterday. Wish my phone would come in 2 days like my case!

How does this case handle drop from like 5ft?

Well it fell off few times from my hands and countertop but never had any damages to the phone Galaxy s8+

I hope S9+ will be protected as well.

I hate to see two times thicker case then my phone LoL like many people buy cases to survive tank passage.

I don't like to keep phone in the stupid box case, every of my phone were in super thin case and never had any damages.

Must be very thin since I keep it in my pocket

Does anyone use a popsocket or any type of device grip helper of sorts? I started to use it on my Mate 9 and do anticipate using it on this big S9+. I find it very useful and handy. Just have to find a case that has a flat, untextured surface to use it.

Just curious if others will plan to use a device like a popsocket on their S9/S9+?

Agree.. looks sharp and nice, but does it offer drop protection?

I haven't been a fan of Spigen cases because of the way they feel in the hand, but this does look nice.

I am going to use this i-Blason rugged case with screen protector
(non referral Amazon link) for my Galaxy S9+.

I am in the minority with the rugged case, I'm sure. I tried finding good case + screen protector combos with my S8+ without success before settling on a built in one.

Spigen thin fit will work for sure. Doesn't offer much in the way of drop protection though. I think the Spigen Neo Hybrid will work too, but I haven't tested it with an angled plug so I can't say for certain.

Is anybody considering the Mous case? Looked through their website yesterday and the videos were rather impressive. And they include a 3-layered screen protector for all their cases. A bit on the expensive side, but not insane for the protection it offers. But they don't ship till May.
