Best Galaxy Note 4 Tempered Glass Screen Protector

Actually you also have the dreaded halo. I guess you're just not as OCD as the rest of us. I could never live with that. That's why my Spigen wasn't on my N4 longer than a couple of minutes. I took it off and will be requesting a refund. It's horrible.

The Halo is when the screen protector is the same size as the Note 4 glass. Due to the curved glass on the Note 4, the screen protector does not stick all around the edge of the phone leaving a "halo" under the screen protector glass. He does not have the halo. Spigen just made the screen protector smaller to avoid the curve of the N4 glass. This is the best current option- until someone make a curved edge screen protector.

Maybe manufacturers made it so it doesn't go all the way to the edges due to the fact that many will use cases that might dig into the tempered glass then causing it to POP up?

I haven't received my N4 yet (Verizon), but have a Spigen tempered glass screen protector that I received from Amazon about a week ago. Comparing it to my N3, it's about 1/16" short lengthwise and about 3/16" short on the width. I'm thinking of returning it.

Given that the N4 (and N3 for that matter) screen is made of glass - probably a better scratch-proof glass than the after market tempered glass screens, and the fact that my Spigen tempered glass screen on my N3 has never had any scratches on it, is it even necessary to put a screen protector on the N4??

Any thoughts??

I used my Note 3 for about 9 months without a screen protector. I had some fine scratches that could only be seen at an angle with the screen off. I got a warranty replacement and put a tempered screen protector on it.

If you take care of your phone and get a case that can cover the front it is probably not necessary.

Would a case with a screen protector on the front piece work with the Crystalusion liquid glass?

LOL. I know what the halo is and he does have it. You have to zoom onto the picture to see it. The angle of the pic is just hiding it. I preordered the Spigen and it has the dreaded halo even though it is cut smaller than the screen. I took it off immediately. It looks terrible.

This was my scenario as well. I received my Spigen from Amazon and was excited about protecting my screen. Unfortunately the protector makes the N4 look terrible with the halo it forms so I took it off. If you're not OCD you may be able to live with it but I sure couldn't.

This is something I have been contemplating as well. Especially since I am going to be joining the Verizon edge plan and don't care about resale value anymore.

I took the tempered protector off my note 3 and so far love the feel of the screen over when I had the glass protector on it. Before I trade in my note 3 for the note 4, I'm going to drop it face first on the cement to see what happens. I'm hoping the case I always use on my phones will be enough to keep it chip free.
