Loving this case perfect grip.

I have a Wavelength, and I really like it, very grippy. However, I noticed a bit of the case on mine interferes with the wide angle camera lens. It's a tiny, tiny corner on the lower right of the view. It bugs me enough that I'm looking for a different case, even though I like everything else about the case.

Has anyone heard of dbrand? They do a G5 "skin", but I dont quite get how it works. Is it basically a vinyl convering that you stick to the back of your phone? What stops it peeling ??

I got my Caseology Skyfall case today. Pretty nice case so far. It's not really my style of case. I tend to like TPU only cases with some flair, either in design or color. This is essentially just a clear TPU case but with a shiny color plastic bumper. The bumper is nice and snug so it feels like it's part of the case and not a separate piece. Even when removing the case the bumper doesn't come loose. It's not slim like some of the other cases people have posted. The size is pretty average as far as TPU cases go. All the ports and sensors have good access. It goes right up to the fingerprint scanner. Plenty of room to plug in headphones, but the ones I have are angled so they don't interfere with cases. I took a couple of pics to make sure the case doesn't interfere with the wide angle camera and I haven't seen any issues. The LG supplied USB C cable fits in the port but it is snug. It's like they molded it to that specific design. The LG micro usb adapter fits with plenty of space since it's smaller. That worries me a bit since I just ordered a couple of micro usb adapters and a spare USB C cable from Anker, so hopefully there's no interference there. My only complaint so far is that it's REALLY easy to hit the covered volume buttons, even just by gripping the area around them. I've already hit them multiple times and accidentally taken pictures. I may try filing the nubs inside the volume cover and see if that makes it better.

I also ordered one of those clear Vena cases as a back up but it hasn't come yet.

The Vena clear case came in today. It's a decent TPU case with an acrylic back. It's slightly smaller in height and width that the Caseology Skyfall case. The ports and sensors are all easily accessible. All the ones on the top and bottom of the phone are off center a bit but the holes are large enough where they don't cause any issues. The official LG USB C cable fits easily into the phone. None of the case touches it. The back has a large cutout that goes around the fingerprint sensor and cameras with plenty of space around them so there's no interference. The volume button covers don't have the tabs on the inside so it's difficult to accidentally hit them. You have to press firmly and you can actually feel the volume buttons click when you touch them. The sides of the TPU don't quite come over the face of the phone, which is a hallmark of a cheap TPU case, but in this case it's not loose at all since the back is hard. My clear back has a small blemish in the acrylic though. It's clearly warped in the middle of the acrylic, so that sucks. As a daily case I think it's mediocre just because of those manufacturing issues. I think it'll protect as well as any other TPU case.

xtremeskins.co.uk now have their G5 skin available. From what I heard they are every bit as good as dbrand, but a lot cheaper. And if you live in the UK, easier delivery of course.

Can't decide which colour to get though :-) I'm thinking brushed titanium, but some of the others look quite cool.

It covers the top part, and the sides of the screen, so this could solve the issue of getting a glass screen protector that only covers the middle, with something like this covering the rest.

I ordered this SUPCASE before I git much G5, is ok, is the same I was using with the g4 but I ended ordering a Thech 21 all clear with white border ($8 at ebay) (don't receive yet)

I'm using the UAG Ice case that I got from Sprint for my TMO phone. Hahaha

Is there a case that works with the battery clip thing so you don't have to take the case off everything you swap batteries? If not is there a case that swaps easily? I haven't been able to find either...

I can personally testify in favor of the Spigen Slim Armor A18CS20130 Case. My LG G5 took a pretty nasty drop the other day and the Slim Armor took it like a champ. I also like having a kickstand available.

I was have neo hybrid and rugged armour and i use ringke onyx. Much better in hand (for me). Now i wait for poetic revolution

Manufacturers seem to be slow in getting cases out. My favorite has been the Body Glove Shocksuit and it's not out yet. They've only got one case out. It would be nice if more worked with the battery module.

I got the Supcase also, it reminds me of the UAG as far as protection goes. It has a very good build but it makes the phone feel a little heavy, without the case the phone is light but with the case the phone is kind of hefty, not in a bad way but a little more weight than I want. Great case though, just a little heavy for me.

I just received poetic affinity case. Case is perfect. Clear case with bumper in few colours. My is black. Case fit perfect in hand. Bumper have perfect grip and because of that it's hard to drop your G5. But if you drop your phone i think that will not be any damage. All cuts on case it's perfect. If you like clear case i recomend this case.
Good job Poetic
Stay tune
