ok...new to this whole rom flashing, but i like it :) with that being said, i have tried out 2 different roms so far: bumblebee 2.4 and harmonia 1.5 and i like both. just curious as to everyone's favorite rom...and is there any that i should try? im looking for a non-bloated, fast rom...but arent we all??? lol. thanks guys

I loved bumblebee 2.4! I've since moved on to IHO's gingerbread builds, of which I use mrg666's build. I love the speed and simplicity of BB and the built in ad blocking works great. I can't tell you why I'm drawn to gingerbread, other than it's newer and allows more customization than froyo does.

thanks for the info :) are u referring to this build: BACKside IHO VM670 08102011.zip ?

BACKside is just one of the many builds from the same IHO source. Yes they're mostly the same.

CM7 AOSP, sure it hasn't been updated but it's very stable in my experience. I like it because it's simple without other customizations that don't always help. I've tried them all and the don't seem to provide extra performance nor battery life with Gingerbread.

I was just wondering if any of IHO have nearly all the bugs worked out. I'm used to Harmonia and don't want to switch to a bunch of problems...

Unlike Harmonia and BB u have to flash the GAPPS also to get the market and if u use the 0613 release u will get the new market without the buy bug. Mrg666's IHO is kinda like Harmonia in its premise but for 2.3.5 a pure but stripped down iteration of CM7.1 Gingerbread.

I used BB 2.4 as my main ROM till trying IHO and only still use it bc Bluetooth works for audio and phone calls plus HID support works for connecting a Wiimote. GrooveIP works along with many other bugs fixed and since I have the 3000mAh extended battery I get 36-48 hours with avg-high usage.
