I have a rooted HTC One and I was thinking of changing my ROM around although I'm not sure which ROM to as I'm sure their are loads to choose from but I have no knowledge on which 1 to choose ! I was wondering I'll use this space to allow people to showcase their home screens of their HTC One's which are rooted so I can a have a good idea plus let other people be envious as well ! I was wondering if you could also be kind enough to provide which ROM and settings your also rocking as well !
P.S I'm looking for a ROM which top notch battery life performance and can support a variety of kernels !

There are 2 types of ROMs for htc one, stock android and sense (most have minor tweaks and improvements). I got back to sense 5.5 after some months from the GPe and I like it so much more than stock android.

I prefer a Sense based ROM as it allows for the familiarity between the transition although I intend to use Nova launcher to change the homescreen as well make other customizations

look no further than Sense 5.5

people will always look for "greener pastures" and when i see some of the customizations they put on their phone i surprise myself of how ugly they are and how little extra functionality (if any) they bring to their device - all in the name of having something "different".

if Sense weren't stock, but rather some custom ROM from a pricey launcher app or what not it would be the most popular one out there.

Thing is I think my sense based ROM (ViperOne) is Sense 5.5 !

Check out the new Android Revolution HD Sense ROM based on 4.4 and Sense 5.5.

Will Do ! Do you have it installed, if so how is it ?!

I wasn't a fan of Sense so I'm using the Android Revolution HD ROM based on the 4.4 Google phone edition. It's great.

I can see your reasoning but don't you lose the ability to use the IR blaster and a few other stuff ?!

I never used the IR blaster, but if I wanted to there are a couple apps that can take advantage of it.

The only thing I miss is highlights and I think Google may have a comparable product.

I'm using the Android Revolution HD Google Edition ROM based on 4.4, but there's a Sense version using Android 4.4 and Sense 5.5 as well. Read up on how to install as both require the absolute newest version of TWRP and you need S-Off. Android Revolution HD | Mobile Device Technologies

As far as SU, the ROM comes rooted, but you may need to reroot after install as I did. If so you'll need SU 1.8 which you can get here: xda-developers - View Single Post - [ROM] Android Revolution HD 5.1 Google Edition | High Quality & Performance | Android 4.4 KitKat | 3.58.1700.5

Thanks for the reply, won't it install through ClockWorkMod recovery as that's what I have installed ?!
What is S-Off ?! I have seen it on a few threads yet I'm oblivious to what it is
I assumed the SU app is in the app drawer after you reboot into the new ROM

Do some research on each of these things before you go about flashing this ROM. I can't fully explain this stuff any better than what is already available on XDA.

Thanks, I've been finding these forums very useful and I've never gotten a reply on XDA forums. Can I ask in this ROM are their CPU tweak settings ?!

I don't believe so, but if you pair it with the Elemental kernel, as I have, you get a number of CPU and GPU tweaks.

I have the ElementalX kernel installed so I can use the HTC logo as a button although I'd rather let SetCPU take care of all CPU tweaks
