Best S21 cases. Which one(s) are you getting?

I'm talking about the flat black finish on the actual camera hump after you peel the Dbrand skin off.

Thinking about changing cases and peeling that skin off.
Oh yeah peeling the skin off shouldn't have any residue or effect. I have changed skins and removed old one and haven't seen any issues after peeling off

How many cases have you gone through until you found the right one?

My first one was a Encased Rugged. It was sturdy but too slippery. It was hard plastic all around including the sides. There is some texturing on the sides but still very slippery.

I'm currently using a Ykooe which had TPU material on the perimeter so in terms of grip, it is better than the Encased. However, the back is similar to the Encased Rugged in that it is slippery which is not a problem when I'm holding the phone, but when I lay it flat, it slides too easily on the car seat for example. Can someone recommend another case? Or there is something I can affix to back of the case that provides a non-slip surface?

My magic numbers around 10.

Is the Samsung official silicon case as nice as the one that Apple makes for the iPhone 12 Pro Max ?

Also for those that have the silicon case. Can you check the sides of your device and see if it has incurred any micro marring. I’m aware that debris and dirt can get trapped in between resulting in blemishes however from my own person experience the silicon cases have been more prone to this. I’m thinking it’s because the material silicon itself contains sand. ?
I used the Black Silicone by Samsung for a day or two.... It collects a lot of lint and is difficult to clear. It is a garbage and its laying around in my drawer for a while now.

One. Been buying the Spigen Rugged Armor for my last bunch of phones. Also switch out to Ringke Fusion cases sometimes, but they really show scratches and the S21 back isn't anything to show off anyway.

Has anyone had personal experience with a Carved wood case? (https://www.carved.com/) They look intriguing, but I've never had (or even seen) a wood case, and I'm not familiar wit this brand.

That is a really nice-looking case. The closest I have had to that design is a Mous Limitless case in walnut. It was nice looking, but a bit hefty. I wonder if these are as heavy?

Yes I’ve bought a couple iPhone cases from them awesome company and customer service, cases are extremely well made and they look totally awesome..you definitely won’t be disappointed

How durable are they as far as the finish not getting scuffed and beaten up to easily by setting the phone down on tables, etc., like out on the patio where the tables are a rougher finish?

Mous vs Dbrand Grip. Which is better in the looks department?

Hate to peel my Swarm skin off the camera :-\

Yea, the Mous is a classier looking case but in terms of functionality the Dbrand Grip blows it away.

The aramid fiber of the Mous is a fingerprint/smudge magnet, the sides are slippery as heck and the buttons are almost flush with the sides of the case. Otherwise it's sporty.

The Dbrand grip case was one hard mother to get the phone out of though :(

I've had a bunch of mous cases for my iphones in the last but haven't sprung for one for my s21 ultra yet.

I've got 2 Mous cases (leather and aramid) and my only grievance is that they haven't released a flip wallet for the S21 Ultra.

I've been thinking of getting a dbrand grip just for the bulletproof banana skin... Does it completely eliminate the camera bump the same way the Mous cases do?

Yes, The Dbrand Grip case lays nice and flat on it's back.
I have the bulletproof banana skin sitting here waiting for the day I peel off the swarm.

I got the following:
Spek Presidio2 Grip. Really nice case with good grip. The only problem I noticed is not enough protection for the camera module

Otterbox Commuter. Mostly my everyday case. Good protection as well as camera protection.

Otterbox Defender. This is for when I go camping or do extreme outdoor activities.

Rhinoshield Solid Suit Carbon Fiber. This one is really nice for work or business meetings.

I like the speck presidio grip 2 but I miss the regular speck presidio grip. I thought the grip and feel of the original case was way better IMHO.

Pulled off my Dbrand Swarm skin from my camera hump today. I was getting sick of looking at it. :-\

Back in the slippery Pathfinder.

I usually go for the defender but since they are not screen protector friendly will look at commuter or symmetry this time around.

Update after looking at both I went with another defender after all I can drop my device quite often so max protection is what I need. I will look around for a OtterBox case friendly screen protector.

Otterbox Defender case landed with me today; it's a bloody good case. Very well built, very rugged but comfy in the hand (albeit I've shovel like hands) and superb protection for my S21 Ultra

Would highly recommend

The Defender Pro works perfect with the Whitestone Dome glass on the S21 Ultra.
