Best SMS for Thunderbolt

I miss handcent... I only tried GoSMS because I had a few settings messed up on handcent because I was playing with them too much. :-[

The only unique thing I see with GoSMS is contact signatures. However it's not enough to make me keep it. Handcent can be a little hard to find a couple of settings but at least it has all the features that make it usable.
For all I know Handcent has contact sigs too. I'll have to find 'em.

Headed back to Handcent. Not sure why everyone is doting over GoSMS?

Well for me after using both, i find handcent to mediocre at best.. GoSMS just works better for me. And obviously many others as well..

But use what works for ya..

My vote goes to Handcent SMS. Not only are the fonts and background(mine is black) colors fully customizable?
The max SMS file size is 5MB. Which means you can send a full 8mp picture no problems! That is however, if the stock TB messaging
App has the same 2MB SMS max size like the Evo? Which will compress your 8mp picture to a much smaller size before it sends it.
Even when the person you send it to opens it?
It will not open to the full 8mp size? But the compressed size.

I used handcent for awhile but I've already gone back to Stock Messages. I noticed that handcent was essentially a skin that works in leiu of the Messages app. I'd send a message in handcent, and then I could go back into Messages and see the same thing. So its just a coverup of Stock. Besides, using BAMF 1.5 Remix they released a black version of the stock Messages and its slick so I went back to it. K.I.S.S.
