I was going to ask 2.2 froyo, 2.3 gingerbread, 3 Honeycomb, or 4 Icecream Sandwich since they support flash, flash was my most main motivation for upgrading. But saw on CNET that adobe is/has discontinued mobile flash, and now doing HTML5, which 2.0 and 2.1 also support.
I am running 1.6 Donut.
My battery power is a factor as well. If you update, can you safely downgrade?
I also want to do this update so I pretty much know how to it for the next phone and would much rather mess the G1 up than a phone I would have just bought maybe a few months ago and not getting their next android update officially.
