Just talked to Best Buy after an hour wait. They show waiting on carrier in their system for 1 day shipping to ups for Friday delivery. I should have it tomorrow he said. The online system won’t show that but theirs do. Hmmm

They told me the same thing.

I pre-ordered on the 11th for a blue UNLOCKED 512GB model for instore pickup. The online status still says IN PROCESS but when I check over the phone, the status is AWAITING CUSTOMER PICKUP.

Tomorrow can't be here soon enough...

Man you are awesome. I tried that and it says mine shipped and the phone system gave me my tracking number. I can’t pull it up on ups site yet but probably once it’s picked up I can. It better say it’s here tomorrow.

I called the store and got bs that it would show shipping if it was arriving tomorrow. Not right cause other carriers are shipping now and I've never waited on the a Pre-order. I’m also flying out Saturday morning from Abilene, TX. Agreed. I was going to use it to take all my notes since I no longer have my iPad Pro.

I called the store where I scheduled my pick up from. For delivery orders, why would you call a store? wouldn't the 800 BEST BUY number be better (aside from the 40 minute wait time mentioned earlier)? Not sure how an individual store can help with a delivery order.

They can’t since they don’t have access to that system I was told. You have to call the 1-800 number.

Hah, that is a Mervyn's store window. Random fact: My grandfather was best buddies with THE Mervyn (Morris). I used to see him occasionally when I would visit Atherton, CA to see my family.

Seems the Samsung reps might be correct, stating before the news came out about Korea's 512 being 50%, that preorders were about four times greater than the expected.

If my 512 is in backorder land, I might just say to heck with it for now, and wait for deals later. 9+ rocks anyway. The extra internal storage would have been peachy though.

And the bigger less curved display, ram, built in Dex, remote control pen thingy, and minimal throttling under load.
