BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Sorry to hear about all the headaches. My pick up this morning went pretty smoothly. The only hiccup was a Sprint issue.... My upgrade eligibility got pushed to 2/21, after I did my pre order. The Customer service rep contacted Sprint and got it straightened in a few minutes. One other note...I am having no issues with FPS.
 
Well I'm happy rocking the s10+. Interestingly enough mine was the only one from AT&T that they had in stock today

Have to admit, I feel bad for BB employees themselves on phone release days. They get stuck doing a lot of listening, getting blessed out, and apologizing, for the mess that BB corporate puts them in over these phone pre-order debacles of overselling, overpromising, and lack of communication.

I was really not very friendly to the mobile manager this morning at 10am when they had no phone for me. Felt a little bad as I drove home realizing it wasn't her fault, but she was the only thing I had to vent my frustration towards. I went back this afternoon and ended up getting white instead of the black I ordered as they had the white in stock. I saw her and apologized. She said she went through that same thing a bunch of times today with irate people with no phones.
 
I've called Best Buy so much and it goes to some call center and earlier I asked for my stores mobile department and got another store here in town and she said the same thing they have no idea when the pink will be in and their is no info on my order. She did mention a warehouse here in town and said my store gets deliveries all day long. Well I get out of the shower and have a missed call from Best Buy and got all excited only to hear a message saying I am returning your call nothing about phone being in. :-(

Seems best buy uses these tactics a lot to get sales on phones they would otherwise not get. Its not a mistake that they are constantly allowing peoole to order phones they won't have at launch while promising launch day availability. Its impossible that two days to release they didn't know what was coming in.
 
They did tell me on the 22nd it depended on how many they got in but they didn't see it being a problem. And now that I recall I think I had problems with getting my purple 9 plus and the manager said pick out a case that's under $50 bucks I think. Maybe they'll compensate me again. Getting a free Symmetry would be nice.
 
So I was being patient about the phone I preordered on 2/23 and willing to wait a few extra days but now I am pretty P.O.'d. BB just changed my March 8th pickup date to April 7 which makes me ineligible for the free ear buds that must be claimed by April 4. Don't even have the words. This was my first BB preorder and will definitely by my last. The cancel button is looking better at this point.
 
I was getting frustrated at best buy,just canceled my order,will keep using my 8+ for few more months. the pre order goodies I can live without. best buy......NO SALE
 
Ordered on 5th pick up this morning and my store said they have plenty in stock. I think the delay because best buy didn't get some unit from Samsung.
 
OMG That is unacceptable that is crazy.... So they will automatically cancel your order and then you lose out on the buds. I would be so mad and you know it might happened to me the pink is so popular. Over on the T-Mobile thread I read if you order the pink it says 5/16 - 6/6 it's crazy. I'm guessing blue is the 2nd popular color.

Thats make no sense if the wait time is a month. More likely they intentionally sold units they could never fulfil.
 
I just went in to my BB and asked if mine came in, nope! I didnt yell at them or anything, they said they are getting some tomorrow. No point in yelling at them atleast thats what i think
 
Just got my text about the delay. Let's cross fingers that it comes in next week.
