BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

It's "barely used" and described as "perfect". Hmm.
Thing is it's the Exynos one, (I'm in UK). Isn't it a bit crappy?

So I called best buy and the guy said I could bring it In he said he literally just got off the phone with someone who was having the same issues and I asked if they were with sprint too and he said no he had Verizon.

So did you get another phone? Hope if you did it's better. My husband said at his work he has no signal at all on his unlocked with Sprint. He barely had it before but he seems to think it was better on the Note 8. My main concern was always at this concert venue I had no signal to Facebook Live while my Verizon friends could and one time even my T-Mobile friend had a better signal than me on Sprint. And they hardly have wifi working there which sucks. But so far I am ok with signal will see going out tonight and hoping live video is better on this phone.

Your problems aren't the S10s as much as your problem is sticking with Sprint. If you want decent signal and decent data speeds, get far far away from Sprint, as you've noted from your friends on Verizon and T-mobile. I had Sprint for probably 15 years, and felt like I rode them all the way to the bottom. Finally got tired of dropped calls, declining signal strength nearly everywhere, and terrible data speeds and switched to Verizon a few years ago. It was like night and day on both counts after switching.

They did not give me a new phone they tried blaming it on sprint but when I called best buy and talked to a different store than the one I went they said they just got off the phone with someone having the same issues and I asked if they had sprint too and they said no Verizon. But when I went to the store today they just tried to blame sprint and said the update was supposed to fix the issue they just turn band 41 off and said that this should work. My boyfriend was persistent with them about being able to return the phone if this doesnt solve it. That's all they did for me.

I saw that it said Samsung has a sale $180 off unlocked 10 Plus today. May have been an ad on here. I'm giving my husband my Gear S3 it's too big and I'm getting the smaller Galaxy watch 42mm. Just need to decide what color. I'm waiting to hear about the buds from Samsung still.

I know I wanted to switch to Verizon when we got our 1st unlocked phone's the Note 8 but their expensive. I get 23% off my plan from work now and mostly am on WiFi. Verizon said with their unlimited plan I don't get my work discount only on other plans. For now I'm stuck with Sprint I'm on an old unlimited grandfathered in plan.

My husband's phone signal was better on his Note 8 he's not real happy.

I hear the S10s are having signal issues... I know I am not getting great speeds I used to on my Pixel. I will give it a few weeks they are supposed to push an update for connectivity. If it doesn't get better I will return it for a new one.

I used to hit 50-100 GB but on this phone I am lucky to get 4 GB sometimes less.

lol also still waiting on TWO S10's. Flamingo Pink and Prism White. all they offered me in "compensation" was a $25 giftcard. ridiculous since they said ~april 9-11 it will ship, so they're not even completely sure.

I just chatted with Best Buy and they offered me the free Gear Sport for the phones I picked up earlier. I did trade in S9+ twice for the phones and still they gave me free stuff.. So if you placed order or picked up within last 14 days then better check. I chatted online and got it; so give it a try. Free stuff is always good. One of my friends was asked to check in store and he got it in store. So if they deny online or ask to check in store please do at the earliest. All the delays don’t seem big now.
