If people aren't getting the firmware updates (in beta stage), then this is definitely for android updates. I mean like android 5.1 or 5.1.1 or something like that.
So now, we can assume that 5.1.(1) is not very far.

People in the zentalk forum have gotten beta updates. They're not supposed to talk about them publicly though. Also, somewhere in there an Asus rep said 5.1 was not coming soon.
