Beyond impressed!!

I've never purchased a nexus device well if you count the og droid than I guess I have but since than I've owned HTC devices including the EVO that I returned for an s3. That's a whole different story. Anyways, yes all nexus devices get first dibs on Os updates but have been lacking hardware compared to everyone else. I think and hoping I'm right from now on the nexus phone will be competitive as a whole fphone not just in software. If this is the case I will no llonger be buying non nexus devices. I'm really excited for android ever since pics came out you can tell where the os is going. Its definitely come along away and again I'm very excited to see what the future holds.

The "cards" is what excites me the most. Given how open Google is with their APIs, you can imagine that we are eventually going to have the awesome functionality of having third party apps having cards that we pin to our Google Now page. Have a Facebook card specifically for a significant other, or a card that shows the latest tweets by a favorite user or list of users. The possibilities are endless. Oh,and Google Now is responsive, works offline for local phone search, and works pretty damn well. Google hit a home run with Now.

There currently no APIs for Google Now, but i hope they will open it. To think about it Google Now is kind of work like reminding notifications it's much easier to add functionality then in voice. If thy gonna open it i hope it wont change in to ad fest
