I've just purchased the Samsung GT-I5700R. I previously had an IPhone but lost it and no one has one in stock for more than 3.2 minutes. Now I wanted to download my music to the new phone, so in trying to do that, I came across the program for Android by Sony Ericson. After it downloaded, the program was unable to see the phone no matter what I did. When I open computer now the SD is formatted with the program and all it does is reload it so I can't get it off. What program is best to facilitate talking between the PC and Android? Do I need to reformat the SD and if so how? How do I get the music to play with the Music Player? And finally. how to I get the albums that came with the phone deleted?
I've spent the last several hours trying to figure this out so know that assistance is appreciated.

Try making sure your usb mode is set to the "mass storage mode" you do this be going to the phones status bar tapping on the usb menu

Are you using a Mac or pc
On pc you don't really need a program to sync music you can either drag and drop to the music folder on as card or use windows media player to sync music. I'm not sure about macs though I have very little experience with them

Thank you.

Thanks for the info. My problems are I don't know where the usb tab is and now that the Sony program is off of the SD, when I drag music files I get an error message "no software installed". I'm working with a PC.
