Interesting read i found-

The Motorola Droid Bionic has been keeping Android fans enthralled for several months now. The Internet rumor mill has been throwing rumors out constantly for this new handheld, but so far there has not been any confirmation from Verizon Wireless on the Motorola Droid Bionic release date.

There's no new info there, and the writer probably needs an ESL course. Still, it's not a terrible consolidation of the info known about the device.

Edit: After looking more closely, some of that information on the Bionic is incorrect. For example, the phone will now have 1GB DDR2, not 512MB as stated in the "Bionic vs Evo 3D" post. Bionic will have Gingerbread, supposedly. The pictures are of the original device, too.

that looks to be a pretty useless site, with outdated info. every indication is that the original Bionic (codename Etna) was scrapped, and the device already in development (codename Targa) will now be released as the "new" Bionic. it will have an OMAP chip (instead of Tegra), with 1.2 (or possibly 1.5) ghz, 1 gb ram (but, with a webtop OS). screen will be either 4.3 or 4.5" pentile. as for a release date, some pretty reliable "insiders" over at HoFo have said that it will come out approximately 4 weeks after the D3 - which puts it sometime in latter half of August, or thereabouts.
