Questions remain. Will it drop unlocked? If not when will the OTA push? Will there be even be an OTA to unlock? Will Verizon deny the unlock and not push out an update ?

So much to think about and so many variables. If I were motorola I would release the handset unlocked as a gesture to say "thank you for your patience." Certainly won't hurt. The clueless don't even know what a bootloader is and it won't impact them.

I can only imagine the uproar if it gets released locked. That may get ugly.

Don't have an answer to your questions cruiserdude but I'd like to comment if I may about quad core. I personally feel the quad core may be just a little overkill. I believe the Dual Cores will be the most stable and reliable platform for these phones.

Not to say I wouldn't buy a Quad Core though I mean if 350 HP is plenty what's wrong with 700

Except with the correct programming a quad core phone would take less power than a single or dual core.

They have 157 Followers now, so it MUST be Official!!!!! I bet they get their info from Gather.Com. After all, the only reason they would extend the free Hotspot until July 6th is because the Bionic is going to be released on the 7th. Who can argue with that logic?? Certainly not me.

As much as I would Love the Bionic to be released, I don't think that the D3 and Bionic will be released in the same month.
