You will see it late 4thQ or 1stQ Next year on Verizon... AT&T will have it this Summer Verizon have not even got a test phone yet. They said it would be Crazy for the Incredible HD(Thunderbolt) Not to come Out in the 4thQ 2010. It was released March 17,2011 Which BMX predicted which was 1stQ this year. Now we have not even seen a leak yet or a picture of a Verizon Version.If you think this phone will be released by 3rdQ that is wishful thinking..

If the May 24th Event is an announcement of a June launch there is no way Verizon sits on it until Q4. That would be stupidity.

When it hits stateside it's just a matter of time before all the other carriers follow suit.

We are talking about Verizon aren't we, they are sitting on a lot of phone launches these days. They got the Fascinate last and that was SGS phone, and they have the Charge, unless the SGS2 is a 3G phone on Verizon, ouch.

Me TOO! I almost had my mind set on just saying forget the Bionic/Targa whatever its called and just getting the LG Revolution to get locked into the 4G etc. etc. But now with this information from Phil, i have no choice but to wait. But how much longer i can wait is the question.

I gave my wife my GB Droid X and was looking at the LG Revolution, and now with this posting... I MUST wait for this phone.

Like was said the GS2 is to small for an LTE radio to be put in. If they do put it in it will not have the same form as the GS2 we see today. Since we can do nothing in here but speculate on where things are I have a feeling that there is a major LTE problem and Motorola is trying to fix it in their handset.

Charge is having same issues holding 4G connectivity. So we have 2 different manufacturers (HTC and Samsung) with the same problem.

Motorola is under the gun with the Bionic and hopefully by the time they release it they have this LTE thing figured out. But I believe/speculate that this is a MAJOR issue that they wontbe able to fix properly in the timeframe they are operating under. Bionic at CES was a mistake. Anyone considering buying this handset should wait until it launches and the end-user reviews start pouring in before purchasing it. I think this problem will be prevalent with all LTE handsets until next year when the radio tech catches up. The old cliche where there's smoke there's fire certainly applies here.

If it does and the GSII is slated to come to Verizon soon as a 3G phone then I will just buy that and purchase a phone next year after LTE issues have straightened out and more areas have it. Otherwise I'm not really sure what I will do. Maybe buy an older model from someone and let that keep me busy for a few months. I'm definitely not sticking with this Storm for another year.

Nothing like good advice. I always wait until a few weekes after device launch to read reviews. Flaws show up as threads real fast, and some I can deal with, while others I pass on. If one radio manufacturer has experience to get the job done, it IS Motorola.

I agree in waiting for the reviews of the Bionic when it is released. But being in contract for 2 years with another 3G phone. I do not want to do that. I will purchase another DX not under contract and wait out the LTE problem. Then purchase an LTE phone. Or if the Bionic/Targa is working well and and there is just an LTE issue I can just use it in 3G. Look at it this way they can not start Tiering this Summer if LTE is not working right?

That GS2 looks awesome, but even with the 4GLTE problems that manufacturers are having, I won't buy the GS2 if it is simply 3G. I can't afford more than a new phone every couple years, so I want 4G, even if I have to wait until fall...I'll hate it, but I'll wait!
