Eh, it sounded like a VZW rep to BB was teasing the boys with some info...
I used to be a rep at VZW store in Wisconsin, but typically our training on a product was right around the two weeks prior to launch, but it could be sooner as well...The Bionic is going to be a flagship device, touted as an Iphone killer. If its going to be like the launch of the original Moto Droid, then look for lots of leaked info shortly and some TV spots popping up.

That's the spirit! Here now, this is apropos and just darn good for a Friday night and a continuing Bionic vigil. Don't let the lady at the beginning lull you into thinking this is something it's not.

No this was different. It was two vzw employees in different locations. Check out these forums yyou will see. Look for something about new Mexico call center and what not. Its in one of these threads.
Just be sure to check your bank accounts right around the time pre-orders begin. I've heard weird things have happened to peoples bank accounts around launches. I had nothing to do with it but I just heard of these things happening.

I should have specified store level sales rep training...We were always the last ones to get trained =[
Im going to be an early adopter BUT I will not hesitate to return it quickly....

Oh well training basically consists of manuals and spec sheets. You might get some hands on with the device if you're lucky...All they are doing is familiarizing the reps with specs, new features, accessories, etc

I'd be with you on waiting for Samsung Galaxy SII, but I won't buy anything that isn't LTE confirmed...I wouldn't be surprised, to see Samsung release one, but they should get that info out so I can make that difficult decision...
Would be nice for companies to give the customers a heads up instead of keeping us all in the dark and hoping to hit a home run.
